HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G

HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G, 2019'un sonlarında Huawei Mate 30 Pro ile tanıtılan akıllı telefonlar ve tabletler için ARM tabanlı bir üst düzey sekiz çekirdekli SoC'dir. Üç kümeye sekiz CPU çekirdeği entegre eder. Performans kümesi, 2.86 GHz'e kadar iki Cortex-A76 çekirdeği içerir; dengeli kümede ayrıca iki Cortex-A76 çekirdeği bulunur, ancak yalnızca 2.36 GHz'e kadar güç bulunur ve son olarak güç tasarrufu kümesi dört küçük ARM Cortex-A55 çekirdeği içerir ( saat hızı 1,95 GHz'e kadar). Ayrıca, SoC, AI görevleri için bir nöral işlemci (2 + 1 çekirdek) ve 700 MHz'e kadar saat hızına sahip bir ARM Mali-G76 MP16 GPU içerir. 4G sürümüyle karşılaştırıldığında, 5G Kirin 990 bir Balong 5G modemi entegre eder ve biraz daha yüksek saat hızına sahiptir (3 kümeden 2'si ve GPU).

Kirin 990 5G, TSMC'deki modern 7nm (EUV ile 7FF +) işleminde üretilirken, 4G versiyonu hala Kirin 980 gibi biraz daha eski 7nm işleminde üretilmektedir.
