Daha geniş model olan Alienware 15 R3 soğutma konusunda bazı sorunlar yaşasa da 13 inçlik sistem de hiçbir sorun gözümüze çarpmıyor. Bazı olağanüstü senaryolarda oldukça sıcak ve sesli olan sistem, geri kalan olağan kullanımda sessiz ve serin.

Kasaya ayrı bir övgüde bulunmak gerekli. Eski Alienware sistemler gibi stil sahibi ve sofistike. Birçok aydınlatmalı elementi de beraberinde getirmekte. Klavye ve touchpad genel olarak yüksek beklentiyi karşılıyor. Ancak QHD OLED ekran buradaki en etkileyici bileşen. Bakış açıları, siyahlık değeri, kontrast veya cevap süreleri farketmiyor, alışıldık TN ve IPS ekranlar her açıdan geride kalıyor. Ama parlak ekranın özellikle dokunmatik ekranla beraber çok fazla yansıtma yarattığını bilmeniz gerekli.

Üretici en son ve en iyi donanımı kullanmış. M.w NVMe-SSD, Kaby Lake işlemci, Nvidia'nın Pascal jenerasyonu grafik kartı. Ana firma Dell burada fiyatını doğrulamak adına her şeyi yapmış. Thunderbolt 3 ve Alienware'ın grafik kartı çıkışı sayesinde harici grafik çözümleri de sorun olmaktan çıkıyor.

Genel olarak Alienware 13 R3 piyasadaki sadece en iyi 13 inçlik sistemlerden biri değil, aynı zamanda genel olaran en iyi oyun notebooklarından biri. Eleştiriye yönelik neredeyse hiçbir şey yok, bu yüzden mobil Top 10 listemizdeki en iyi cihaz.
