P8 lite alıcıları iyi bir kullanım sunan, ses kalitesi yüksek ve makul bir ekrana sahip iyi bir cihaza sahip olucaklar. Kasa iyi bir izlenim bırakıyor. Cihaz abisi P8 modelinin bazı özelliklerinden yoksun, ancak bu özellikler çok önemli değil. Aksine çift sim özelliği bazı ülkelerde sadece P8 lite modelinde mevcut. Ancak iki sim birden kullanıldığında microSD kullanılamıyor.

Resim ve video çeken kullanıcılar için P8 lite rakiplerine göre daha tatmin edici. Full HD video çekmek de mümkün.

Rahatsız edebilecek özellikleri arasında ise kısa batarya kullanım süresi, tutarsız GPS modülü ve kulaklığın ortalama ses çıkışı olabilir. Ekran parlaklığı da biraz daha iyileştirilebilirmiş.

Cihaz genel olarak iyi bir fiyat/performans oranı sunuyor.
