Dünyanın en ince nootebooku olmak için nasıl ödünler veriliyorsa en hafif olmak için de farklı şeylerden vazgeçmek gerekebiliyor. LG Gram 15 oldukça hafif olabilir ancak çoğu standart Ultrabook cihazda bulunan özelliklerden vazgeçmek gerekebilir.

En büyük eksikliği zayıf kasada görüyoruz. Dar çerçeveli ekran köşeden köşeye parlak bir ekran ile geliyor ve çoğu ultrabooka göre oldukça esnek. Magnezyum alaşım kasa ince görünümü sağlıyor. Ancak sağlamlık konusunda şüpheleri de beraberinde getiriyor.

Performans tarafından bakınca harici grafik kartı olmayışı ve işlemcinin Turbı performansını uzun süre koruyamayışı gibi durumlar söz konusu. Bunun dışında yumuşak klavye, ortalama ekran menteşeleri, karanlık sayılabilicek ekran aydınlatması, kameranın konumu ve Thunderbolt 3 olmayışı gibi durumlar söz konusu. Bu yüzden LG Gram deneyimi daha ağır XPS 15 veya Lenovo Yoga 720 gibi alternatiflere kıyasla daha zayıf.

Elbette pozitif yönler de mevcut. Fan sesi genel olarak duyulmuyor, depolama alanı ve RAM arttırılabiliyor, fiyat olarak diğer iyi bilinen markalardan daha ucuz. Eğer 15 inçlik hafif bir cihaz arıyorsanız Samsung Notebook 9 daha iyi bir alternatif olabilir. Neredeyse aynı hafiflikte olmakla beraber daha parlak ekran ve dış mekan kullanımı öne çıkıyor.
