In review: Lenovo ThinkPad P50s. Test model courtesy of Notebooksandmore.

ThinkPad P50s modeli eski ThinkPad W550s modelinin Skylake işlemciye kavuşmuş hali. Aslında mobil istasyonun en büyük sorunu da bu. İşlemci dışında cihaz güncellenmemiş. Bu yüzden USB-C, Thunderbolt, M.2 SSD gibi bağlantı noktaları cihazda yer almıyor. Bu noktada W550s modelinin sonuçları ile neredeyse aynı noktadayız. Çünkü işlemci gücünden biraz yoksun iyi ve ince bir mobil çalışma istasyonu yine karşımızda. Performans konusu elbette günlük kullanımınıza göre değişkenlik gösterebilecek bir başlık. Ancak işlemci neden tüm potansiyelini kullanamıyor ve bir mobil çalışma istasyonunda kısıtlama mevcut, bu sorulara Lenovo'nun cevap vermesi gerekli.

Bu da bizi diğer soruna getiriyor, ThinkPad P50. Tamamen elden geçmiş tasarım, tüm modern bağlantı noktaları, daha fazla performans. P50s ise daha ince yapım ve biraz daha hafiflik gibi avantajlara sahip.

ThinkPad P50s yine de iyi bir mobil çalışma istasyonu. Ama cihaz önceki modele göre işlemci hariç hiç değiştirilmemiş. Bu yüzden cihazı önermek özellikle rekabeti düşününce bizim için oldukça zor.
