Tecra A50 serisi daha pahalı Portege serisinin gölgesinde kalıyor. Daha düşük fiyatlandırmalar için Toshiba birçok özelliği kesmek zorunda kalmış. Zayıf ekran kapağı, zayıf ekran, aydınlatma olmayan klavye ve SIM desteğinin olmayışı. Smart Card ve parmak izi okuyucu gibi özellikler artık opsiyonel olmaktan çıkıp zorunlu hale gelmiş durumda. Test cihazımızdaki 768p ekran ise renk kalitesi, kontrast ve parlaklık yönünden ortalamanın altında.
Eğer Toshiba kullanmak istiyorsanız biraz daha bütçe ayırıp Portege serisi bir cihaz seçmenize değebilir. Kalite ve kullanılabilirlik yönünden farkı hissedeceksinizdir.
En düşük konfigrasyonlu modeli göz ardı etmenizde fayda var, çünkü çoğu temel iş özelliğinden yoksun. Docking bağlantısı, 3 yıl garantisi, batarya performansı ve sessiz kullanımı Tecra A50-C modelinin öne çıkan özellikleri.
