AMD Radeon HD 8650M

AMD Radeon HD 8650M, DirectX 11.1 destekli laptop grafik kartý. 8500M ve 8700M serisi gibi Mars çipi (28nm GCN mimarisi) tabanlý olup 384 shader çekirdeðine, 8 ROP ve 24 TMU’ya sahip. Çekirdek 650MHz hýzýnda (700 MHz Boost) ve GDDR5 RAM kullanýlabilmekte.

Grafik kartýnýn performansý Radeon HD 8730M ile GeForce GT 640M LE dolaylarýnda. Hýzlý GDDR5 bellek sayesinde 8650M ile DDR3 kullanýlan HD 8670M performansýný geçmek mümkün. Performans gerektiren oyunlar sadece düþük detay ve çözünürlüklerde akýcý þekilde oynanabilir.
 
384 shader, OpenCL 1.2 ile genel hesaplamalar için kullanýlabilir. TeraScale 2 çiplere kýyasla GCN tabanlý Mars mimarisi bu alanda daha iyi performans sunmakta.
 
Grafik kartýnýn özellikleri arasýnda UVD3 aracýlýðý ile MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2, ve Flash videolarýn direk grafik kartýndan iþlenmesi mümkün. Multi-View Codec (MVC) ve MPEG-4 part 2 (DivX, xVid) HD videolarda artýk iþlenebilmekte.
 
8600M serisi ayný zamanda dahili ve harici grafik kartlarý arasýnda geçiþi mümkün kýlan Enduro teknolojisini desteklemekte. Bu teknoloji Nvidia’nýn Optimus teknolojisi ile benzer. Dahasý grafik kartý Enduro kapalý olduðunda Eyefinity teknolojisi ile 2 monitöre kadar görüntü çýkýþý desteklemekte.
 
8600M serisinin diðer özellikleri arasýnda güç tüketimini azaltmak adýna ekran kapatýldýðýnda tüketimi azaltan ZeroCore ve çipin kullanýlmayan alanlarýný kapatan Power Gating teknolojileri mevcut. PowerTune grafik kartýnýn güç tüketimi el verdiði müddetçe hýzýnýn arttýrýlmasýný ve azaltýlmasýný saðlamakta.
 
Dahili HD ses iþlemcisi HDMI ve DisplayPort üzerinde HD ses (TrueHD veya DTS Master Audio) aktarýmý yapabilmekte. Ek olarak artýk simultane þekilde paralel olarak çoklu cihazlara ses çýkýþýna olanak saðlamakta.
 
Güç tüketimi eski HD 7670M modelinden az olacaðýnda 13 inç ve üstü notebooklarda kullanýlabilir.
