Apple M4 10-core GPU
10 çekirdekli Apple M4 GPU , 10 çekirdekli ve birleşik bellek mimarisini (LPDDR5X-7500, 120 GB/s bant genişliği) kullanan Apple M4 SoC'lerde yerleşik bir grafik adaptörüdür. Apple tarafından tasarlanan iGPU ne yazık ki M3 serisi öncüllerinden ayrılmasına yardımcı olabilecek kayda değer yeni özelliklere sahip değil.
Çok benzer m3 SoC'de yerleşik olarak bulunan 10 çekirdekli GPU m4 GPU (10 çekirdekli) ışın izleme, örgü gölgeleme ve diğer modern teknolojiler için donanım desteğine sahiptir. 6K'ya kadar yüksek çözünürlüklü harici ekranları destekler ve popüler AV1, HEVC ve AVC video kodeklerini donanımsal olarak çözebilir (AV1 için kodlama henüz desteklenmemektedir).
M4 GPU ile M3 GPU arasındaki ilk karşılaştırmalar %15'e varan performans artışlarına işaret etse de, yeni iPad'lerin aktif soğutmadan yoksun ince kasası nedeniyle M4 çipin performans sürdürülebilirliğinin çok zayıf olacağını belirtmek önemlidir.
