The Honor X40i is a decent phone since it offers a decent design layout, impressive performance, good battery life, and many other things that make this device superb. It will follow up with fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Aside from this, the viewing experience does feel underwhelming because of the standard colors. The camera results are good enough to be described as presentable. Though, the phone’s flaws can be overlooked with the budget-friendly price point. Overall, if you are looking for a budget 5G phone from Honor, you should consider this phone. But on the other hand, if you are not a big fan of Honor, you should look at alternatives such as Vivo Y30 5G for well-rounded features.

The Honor X40i is a decent 5G smartphone announced in July 2022. It carries a 6.7 inches IPS LCD display panel with a 391-pixel density. For software layering, it brings the Android 12 OS with Magic UI 6.1 custom UI. Honor X40i is powered by the 7nm – MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 chipset that can reach up to a 2.2GHz clocking speed. Alongside this, you get an 8GB / 12GB RAM option with support for 128GB to 256GB internal storage. The dual camera of the Honor X40i furnishes a 50MP main and a 2MP depth lens.
