NVIDIA Quadro 5000M

NVIDIA Quadro 5000M, Fermi tabanlı profesyonel bir çalışma istasyonu grafik kartı olup; GF100 tabanlı GeForce GTX480M ile benzerlik göstermekte. Quadro, ECC RAM ve çift katmanlı sayı yuvarlama çekirdekleri ile gelen ilk mobil GPU olarak karşımıza çıkıyor.

Quadro serisi stabilite ve performans için optimize edilmiş sürücüler ile gelmekte. OpenGL performansı benzer GeForce kartlara oranla oldukça iyi.

Shader / CUDA çekirdekleri: DşrectX 11, OpenGL 4.1 , DirectCompute, OpenCL, AXE ve CUDA ile erişilip grafik işleme ve genel hesaplamalar için kullanılabilmekte. Fermi çekirdeği sayesinde 5000M genel hesaplamalarda da yüksek performans sunabilmekte.

Bunlara ek olarak Nvidia Quadro 5000M Nvidia’nın sunmuş olduğu yeni NVIDIA 3D Vision Pro çözümü ile gelmekte.

GeForce GTX 480M gibi Quadro 5000M de 100 Wattlık güç tüketimine sahip ve bu yüzden büyük laptoplarda kullanılabilmekte.

Lansmanı yapıldığı zaman çerçevesinde (2010 ortası) Quadro 5000M en hızlı çalışma istasyonu grafik kartı olarak karşımıza çıktı ve GeForce FX3800M (G92b çekirdeği) yerine geçti. Masaüstü Quadro kartlar ile kıyaslanıldığında ise masaüstü Quadro 5000’in daha fazla shader çekirdeğine sahip olduğu ve büyük olasılıkla daha yüksek saat hızına sahip olduğunu söyleyebiliriz.
