NVIDIA Quadro M5500
Nvidia Quadro M5500 üst sınıf, DirectX 12 ve OpenGL 4.5 uyumlu mobil çalışma istasyonları için grafik kartı.Maxwell tabanlı grafik kartı olup tüm 2048 shader çekirdeği de aktik olan GM204 çipini kullanmakta ve 28nm ile üretilmekte. Bu yüzden notebook Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 modeli ile benzer. Daha yavaş ve daha az güç tüketimine sahip Quadro M5000M ile kıyaslandığında M5500, 512 adet daha fazla shader sayısına sahip ve %30-40 oranında daha hızlı.
Quadro serisi CAD veya DCC gibi uygulamalarda stabilite ve performansı arttıran sertifikalı sürücülere sahip. OpenGL performansı benzer GeForce grafik kartlarına göre oldukça daha iyi.
CUDA ve OpenCL 1.2 kullanılarak M5000M çekirdekleri genel hesaplamalar için de kullanılabilir.
Güç tüketimi
M5000M güç tüketimi olarak 150 Wattlık bir değere sahip. Bu yüzden 17 inç ve üzeri cihazlarda kullanılmakta. M5500 kullanan ilk laptop ise MSI WT72 çalışma istasyonu.
