It’s not one for power users, who’ll find the battery runs out of puff long before they do. If you’re not a heavy user or don’t mind the odd bit of battery anxiety the Nokia 6 is a good buy: it’s stylish and generally well specified, with a surprisingly good camera.

The Nokia 6 is a device with a great design, good display, and decent battery life. But while the design of the device is exciting, everything else looks a bit dull. While there are some positives, there is not anything which would make your jaw drop. The phone is priced at Rs. 14,999 in the market and it is actually on a bit of a hot seat right now, because standing against it are the likes of the Moto G5s Plus, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the Xiaomi Mi A1, and the Lenovo K8 Note, all of which boast better processors, larger batteries and in some cases, better (and even dual) cameras too. Which leaves the Nokia 6 pretty much in no man’s land. Yes, it retains its traditional values of strength and stability but lags in the experience department. Literally.

Ultimately, you can’t really go wrong between these four phones; they all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you’re an iPhone SE user, there’s no compelling reason to jump ship to a mid-range Android phone, but if you’re an Android fan then rejoice! Nokia’s back! The Nokia 6.1 Plus is a damn fine smartphone. The design & alone makes it a winner and it is hard to imagine this as a device priced at Rs. 15,999 . The stock build of Android and Nokia’s proven commitment to fast upgrades too help make a case for the phone. The specs aren’t anything special, but they’re sufficient to keep pace with the competition. A larger battery and slightly better camera is all that the phone needs to really become the hands down recommendation in its class of hardware.

These phones hit the market in mere weeks. The Nokia 7.2 should arrive before the end of September for 349 euros. It will be sold in most markets worldwide, include the U.S. (via open channels). HMD says it is working to strengthen its relationships with U.S. carriers and until it does the open market is the way it will go. The Nokia 6.2 will go on sale in mid-October at the more affordable price point of 209 euros. The 6.2 will not be sold in the U.S. and is something HMD expects to sell across Asia, Africa, and EMEA.
