Prestige 16 AI Evo'nun kasası için MSI, koyu gri renkte (Stellar Gray) magnezyum-alüminyum alaşımdan oluşan tek gövdeli bir tasarım tercih etti. Kaplama ve yapı kalitesi çok iyi görünüyor ve kasanın sağlamlığı da etkileyici. Ana ünite zorlukla bastırılabiliyor veya bükülebiliyor ve testimiz sırasında herhangi bir gıcırdama sesi duymadık. Yüzeyleri de parmak izi toplamaya aşırı duyarlı değil.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Bu Core Ultra 9 285H intel'in Arrow Lake H serisinin (Core Ultra 200) yeni üst düzey modeli ve Meteor Lake neslinin doğrudan halefidir. Toplam 16 CPU çekirdeğine (22 iş parçacığı) sahiptir ve altı hızlı performans çekirdeği (hyper-threading dahil) 5,4 GHz'e kadar saat hızına ulaşır. Yeni Core Ultra 9 285H ile donatılmıştır Arc Graphics 140T'den temelde farklı olan Ark Grafikleri 140V lunar Lake işlemcilerin. 140V ikinci nesil Xe çekirdeklerini kullanırken, 140T, Meteor Lake yongalarında kullanılan ilk nesil 8 Xe çekirdekli Arc Graphics'in geliştirilmiş bir versiyonudur. Lunar Lake çipleri önemli ölçüde daha düşük güç sınırlarıyla çalışıyor, ancak en hızlı varyantlara bakarsanız, 140T / 140V arasında performans açısından büyük bir fark yok. GPU performansı sürekli yük altında sabit kalıyor ve pil modunda performansı yalnızca minimum düzeyde (yaklaşık %5) düşüyor.

Sürücüler de henüz tam olarak gelişmemiş gibi görünüyor, çünkü kıyaslamaya bağlı olarak önemli farklılıklar gözlemledik. Prestige yalnızca tek bir fanla donatılmıştır ve bu da yüksek güç sınırları göz önüne alındığında elbette ideal değildir. Günlük kullanım sırasında fan nispeten hızlı çalışıyor, ancak basit görevler sırasında Dengeli modda oldukça sessiz kalıyor. Daha yüksek yükler altında yalnızca 42 dB(A) ölçtük.
